Notably, her aunt is the renowned 1960s star Liberty Ilagan. Heart's great-grandfather is Dr. Don Juan Del Gallego, a Spanish businessman who founded the town of Del Gallego in Camarines Sur. Born in the Philippines, she later moved to the US and returned during her teenage years. Heart kickstarted her career at thirteen as an actor and model. Additionally, she has a half-sister named Maria, who happens to be Jodi's second cousin.
